A New Day
November 6, 2006 / San Jose Occidental Mindoro
The sun had risen on the east
The moon’s remnant lies on the west
The morning dues still are wet
But still, yesterday’s a day I can’t forget
I’ve slept for about eight hours
But still, I felt tired
It’s as if I’ve been running for hours
My heart still beats fire
My exhaustion files up
As I am about to leave
That happens every time I stand up
And try to remember the passed eve.
